With a high number of reported shootings recently across Sydney, the question has been raised - do we have too many guns in our state? And exactly how many are there?
Well, the latest data from the NSW Firearms Registry shows there are 1.1 million registered guns in NSW – the equivalent of one gun per 8 people. So where are they? Who has them? And should we be worried?
